The Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program is a key initiative of the national charity Ever Active Schools (EAS). EAS is a registered Canadian charity, registration number 891288334RR0001. How Would Your Donation Help?
Your support allows the Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program to continue to uplift and support Indigenous youth across Canada. From buying healthy snacks to providing credit and certificate-earning opportunities, every dollar pledged is invested into support and resources for the youth of IYMP.
Programming: Every Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program provides healthy snacks, space for activities, vigorous physical activity, and games, which are essential parts of building an IYMP community.
Providing Credits and Certificates: The Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program provides opportunities to its youth mentors to earn High School Course credits that can be used toward their graduation requirements and many certificate-earning opportunities such as Standard First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST©).
Creating Resources: The Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program team makes resources that are used to help implement the program, such as “tips and tricks to facilitating traditional games” and others to help interested health champions launch an IYMP program in their communities.
