Huge Donation from Canadian Tire Jumpstart Supports IYMP Communities!

We are excited to announce that Canadian Tire Jumpstart has generously donated sports equipment for up to 30 of our IYMP communities across Alberta. This means that up to 600 kids within our communities across the province will now have access to items like snow shoes, basketballs, soccer balls, curling boards, and more!

We are grateful for this opportunity and appreciate Jumpstart’s dedication to overcoming barriers and enriching the lives of kids through sport and activity.  Canadian Tire Corporation covers all of Jumpstart’s general and administrative expenses and they sure did show up. We have been busy delivering these resource and equipment packages to communities all over. Our vision here at IYMP is to create a world where Indigenous children and youth have safe, healthy places to be, belong, grow and give of themselves. Every opportunity we can provide and every barrier we can break makes a difference in the lives of children and the communities they live.
